Today the big lad should have been celebrating his 44th birthday…if only…. And yet so many messages online and texts from friends and family tell me that he’s still very much in every one’s hearts and always will be. What a legacy… forever young and forever loved, never to be forgotten.

Our charity continues, perhaps more slowly than before but still up and running .. Having reached our target number of installations we are mostly maintaining them, replacing pads as they expire or are used and keeping on top of periodic battery replacement.

On average it costs £180 to replace a set of pads every 5-6 years if not used, and batteries at £40 every 5-7 or so years, again depending on usage.

We placed a new Defib at Fletchers’s farm in Little Ayton and continue to be fully responsible for 22 of the installed units. The remainder of the 35 units are fully maintained by the owners of the buildings they are installed on.

We were offered a stall at the Fletchers’s farm Christmas Craft fair and raised £500 for Beliketom with other kind donations received this Christmas.

Recently we received a very special donation in memory of a wonderful lady Cyn …she was an amazing person and loved and cherished by our Tom and the rest of us.

Cyn proudly supported our charity in so many ways and her ideas and advice were so valuable, she will be sadly missed.

Tom is still very much part of the community and it’s good to know the defibs are there and used as needed.

Another Christmas, another birthday, another time to cherish those memories and to remember those we hold in our hearts forever. Thank you all for your continued support, kindness and love… we are surrounded by wonderful people.
Stay safe everyone, all the best and ‘beliketom’
